- Turning patients in bed to prevent bedsores or muscle discomfort
- Exercising patients or residents with walks
- Helping patients eat and take medications
- Grooming and/or bathing
Personal Care Assistants (PCA)
Our PCAs have a special heart to help the elderly, infirm and recovering patients. Their exceptional interpersonal skills serve them well. They are adept at providing mobility support, assisting with personal hygiene, and offering companionship to those at your facility.
Their responsibilities may include:
- Offering support, comfort and companionship to your residents or patients
- Administering treatments or dispensing medications
- Helping with personal hygiene, including bathroom visits, dressing and brushing teeth
- Engaging your patients or residents with activities, such as playing games, taking walks with them or reading aloud to them
